Melanie's Story
School
In high school the teacher I most admired was Mr. Edmundson for his kindness and patience.
My happiest times in high school was with my friends and putting the grind to the books.
Crazy times were in Mr. Methia's class with some old friends.
The funniest times when the business club went on a compeition to Sturbridge village. We acted up and had a great time. I was the club secretary for the business club.
The funniest and embarrassing time is when I fell down the stairs with all my books heading to class one day! Had to laugh it off things happen!!!
Mostly remember the great fun at lunch shifts in the tan house and other houses.
College

0 p.m classes that last until 11:00 at night, besides doing a double class at night from 5:30 til 11:00. Then going to work the next day!

Workplace
5 years ago I ran a family childcare out of my home for 14 years and loved it. My boys grew older and then I decided to work out of the home again. I went for experience and worked in Boston in a childcare center as a Lead Teacher/Acting Director for 1 year. Presently I have finally started a job closer to home I am a Lead Teacher for an infant and toddler program and love it. My two sons are 21 and 25 years old. I now have a grand daughter that will be one years old Aug 1st 2010 my older son's baby (Olivia) we can't get enough of her!
